Menswear Colour and Fabric Trends - Spring/Summer 2022 (Italtex)

Classic and unmissable colour combination interpreted in clean, simple wool/linen pinstripes and bold stripes for polo shirts as well as abstract floras on jacquard jersey. The obvious starting point of each collection.

Bold striped patterns can be excellent either for jackets or sports trousers in contrasting blue and ochre yellow tones. Textured horizontal stripes are found instead in cotton crewneck and lightweight polo shirts in filoscozia cotton honeycomb. Rugby inspiration piquet stripes can’t be missing. The common denominator is the orange tones matching white and blue.

The warm reddish shades of Tuscany’s terracotta enrich organic cotton sweatshirts, confer a casual hint to linen blend striped plain weaves for inlined overshirts and cozy-style trousers.
Small rhombuses taking inspiration from old-style tiles make the knit shirt original unique.

The bold checks for linen jackets in mock-leno constructions get lighter when teamed to sky blue and sand beige. Double-face jacquard knits reproduce the traditional glenchecks for knit blazers. Space-dyed yarn effects reminding of sky reflections on sea, for knit shirts.
