Yoon Ahn posts first look for Ambush x Converse collaboration

Ambush has released a first look at the newest Ambush x Converse collaboration.

In a post on Instagram, Ambush designer Yoon Ahn showed a pair of rubber, white sneakers featuring the classic converse logo, black typeface and "AMBUSH" written in black across each heel.

Accompanying the photo, Ahn posted the caption, "@ambush_official x @converse are made for men and women who fell to earth. Inspired by vintage military winter boots Converse used to produce for US military."

Later, the designer posted an Instagram story showing similar sneakers in black, with "AMBUSH," this time written in yellow, across the heels. 

The military-inspired shoe is set to release in conjunction with the Ambush Autumn/Winter 2019 collection this year. 

This newest collaboration comes soon after Ahn's partnership with Nike, where the designer debuted an updated take on the Nike Air Max 180 mixed with style elements from the rare Nike Air Zoom Flight.
