The North Face gains a foothold in Andorra

Published

It is with a concept store of 130m² that The North Face has made its entry into the principality of Andorra. The boutique was opened with the help of a local outdoor brand franchise.

The North Face

“The tough environment of the Pyrenees and the independence of Andorran spirit perfectly complements the mission and the heritage of The North Face brand”, said Patrick Frisk, president of the Outdoor & Action Sports division of VF International for the European, Middle East and Asian markets (EMEA) since the 11th of July and who is also in charge of the JanSport, Reef and Vans brands.

“We are happy to open the first North Face boutique in Andorra, and we are equally happy to share this honour with our local retail partner Viladomat,” stated Francesca Pozzi, retail director for the EMEA. “The new store, which presents a mixture of industrial contemporary design and natural elements in wood, will start by presenting the Performance collections and Summit Series Approach for summer 2009, as well as an advance taster of the autumn-winter 2009/2010 collection.”
