Pete Davidson takes over the Calvin Klein Instagram

Pete Davidson has taken over the Calvin Klein Instagram account. 

The American sportswear label has given the 'Saturday Night Live' comedian full access to the official account, which boasts over 21.5 million followers. He has already begun sharing content where has been joined by Machine Gun Kelly. 

The account currently features a profile picture of Davidson with the profile description “Pete Here”, and follows only Machine Gun Kelly’s personal account. Moreover, the pair participated in an Instagram Live where they stripped down to their Calvin Klein underwear. They have also shared a few pictures including a mirror selfie of Davidson wearing a Calvin Klein t-shirt. 

The takeover came with no prior announcement and it is still unclear if it is part of a larger campaign. Calvin Klein's account description and profile picture still reference Davidson, which means if remains unknown if this takeover is really over. 

Last month, Calvin Klein orchestrated another marketing move with a 35-minute shoppable spectacular streamed on Amazon Live and the Amazon Music Twitch channel. Headlined by rapper and platinum artist, Saweetie, and featuring emcee, Symone, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the show included live musical and dance performances, Saweetie’s holiday gifting advice and live Q&A sessions with fans.
