PGB Sports in multiyear license with G-III for DKNY Sport menswear

Published

PGB Sports is on the verge of launching DKNY product under a multiyear license with G-III Apparel Group. Last year the company signed up to license DKNY Sport and DKNY Golf for Europe and collections for the two labels will launch this summer.

DKNY Sport

The deal expands the DKNY brand into men’s sports and golf  clothing and accessories as Ireland-based PGB continues with its strategy to grow its overall sportswear business in Europe “by leveraging category and market expertise”.

PGB chairman Alan Dwyer said: “We are excited about our partnership with G-III, as this represents a great opportunity to leverage our market expertise within the sports market for the DKNY brand in Europe.

“Working alongside the Calvin Klein brand, we look forward to developing DKNY and building a profitable men’s business for this iconic global brand in both Sport and Golf.”

PGB is a 14-year-old company that designs, sources and markets global sports brands including Calvin Klein Golf under license with PVH, Cutter & Buck, Green Lamb, and Dwyers & Co.
