Nike underwear campaign features Manchester City star Dias

Published
Aug 25, 2022

Nike has a new face (and sporting body) to present its latest Autumn/Winter 2022 underwear campaign: Manchester City and Portugal footballer Rúben Dias.

Nike Underwear

Footballers are hugely popular as brand faces at present with fashion-focused labels at the top end of the price scale (such as Burberry) and more affordable ones (like Superdry) finding brand ambassadors among the ranks of the world's top footballing talent.

Nike said the latest launch follows the success of last season’s ‘Move to Zero’ collection. So the new Nike Underwear product range has been redesigned “with advanced sustainability in mind”. It therefore features styles made with at least 75% recycled fibres, sweat wicking fabric and Dri-Fit technology.

The new season’s collection is engineered from smooth, stretch microfibre and Dri-Fit technology that wicks away sweat to help the wearer “stay dry and comfortable”.

The extra-soft, sustainable knit fabric “is comfortable and easy to move in, designed to feel good against your skin whether you're working out or running errands”.

Move to Zero is Nike's journey toward zero carbon and zero waste, “to help protect the future of sport”.

The AW22 collection “is a continuation of Nike’s commitment to sustainability and is driven by the belief that protecting the planet means protecting the future of sport against climate change”.
