Formerly of the Adidas group, where he spent six years as regional representative and sport marketing director, and of Salomon/Bonfire where he was director of marketing, Wayne best joined New Era six years ago. Starting as director of marketing for the Canadian market he then became director of the Suburban Business section of the American brand.

Amongst his achievements were the development of lifestyle collections and Non-Licensed by New Era. Off the back of his successes he opened a Californian branch for the brand in 2006 in Irvine which now employs eighteen people.

He will soon be leaving California for his new role as marketing director for EMEA, for which he will work from London, the European headquarters of the brand.
