Fairer weather is on its way, and Catalan label Mango is tapping its customers’ appetite for sporting activity, whether outdoors or in gyms, by launching a sportswear capsule collection called Active, the first of its kind for the label’s menswear line.

Mango has dropped an activewear range for men - Mango

The collection includes leggings (priced at €40), light waterproof jackets (€60 to €70), shorts (€50), trousers (€50) and t-shirts (€40 to €60) in a variety of colours and designs, made with “breathable, comfortable, stretchy lightweight materials,” as Mango indicated in a press release. In addition, the collection features sneakers in multiple colours and a series of accessories like hats, bum bags and backpacks.

The products are already available on Mango’s e-shop, and are also on sale at three Mango and Mango Man stores in Barcelona. Last October, Mango introduced an activewear collection for its women’s line. It was a success, prompting the label to add a second instalment in March, with products suitable for disciplines like yoga, dance, meditation and Pilates. Mango’s Active line is designed to appeal to fans of sporting activity and wellness, as shown by its slogan, ‘The Wellbeing Community’.

Mango was founded in Barcelona in 1984 and is present in over 110 countries. In the 2020 financial year, the label reported a revenue of €1.842 billion.
