Love Stories to open first UK store

Love Stories, the Dutch underwear brand, is opening its first UK store at 14 Hanbury Street in the Spitalfields area in east London.

The new store measures 577 sqft. Love Stories, which was founded by the same people as Scotch & Soda, opened its first store in Amsterdam in 2014. The label is also sold in boutiques and department stores, and is available in 28 countries, including Denmark and Australia.

Sahar Rezazadeh, Chartered Surveyor, Central London Retail at CBRE, said: “Love Stories Intimates has gone from strength to strength since its original boutique opening, and the decision to buy the lease for this Spitalfields unit is a sign of the growing lingerie market in the UK and in London. The opening will provide the perfect springboard for the brand as it launches its first UK base.”

FashionMag previously reported that Love Stories would open a London store this year, as well as boutiques in Maastricht and Copenhagen.
