Liu Jo appoints Paola Durante as general manager

In June, Italian label Liu Jo has strengthened its senior executive team by appointing Paola Durante as general manager.
 

Durante, a graduate in Economics and Political Science, was the long-time managing director Italy of BofA Merrill Lynch, and later switched to the fashion industry, working as head of investor relations and strategic planning at Moncler.

“We thought realistically about the future of Liu Jo and decided to introduce a new senior executive profile to our company, someone who would be able to infuse fresh energy into a successful business model,” said Marco Marchi, founder of Liu Jo.

Liu Jo, a brand owned by EIH-Eccellenze Italiane Holding, has opted to appoint a general manager for the first time with a view to bolstering and expanding its future business. Durante's appointment is part of Liu Jo’s consolidation effort, after the label closed fiscal 2021 with a revenue in excess of €400 million. Liu Jo is aiming to deploy a new growth strategy that would enable it to further extend and strengthen its market presence both in Italy and abroad.
