Lifestyles trade show HOMI in full swing in Milan

The Italian lifestyles trade show HOMI is in full swing in Milan, having changed names in January and reorganized its exhibit sectors.

As its current edition, held from September 13-16 at the Fiera Milano, continues forward, its organizers have announced a partnership with Federelegno, which puts on the famous Salone del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair). During the 2015 edition of HOMI, which will be held from January 17-20, Federlegno will manage an area of the show featuring products by companies that make home accessories.

This is in accordance with the agreement between the Sistema Moda Italia and HOMI, which sees the Italian textile organization supporting a home textile section at HOMI.

It’s certainly one way to ensure solidarity between these Italian organizations at a time when Italy is in economic turmoil and Matteo Renzi’s government is giving support, through various means, to exports, particularly through these trade shows.

Besides these agreements intended to boost its Milanese edition, of HOMI is already getting ready to go to the United States (not to mention plans for an edition in Moscow). By the end of September, organizers should announce an important agreement to create a HOMI show in New York. Plans for an edition in Asia are still on track, but should be carried out a bit later.
