Lectra launches its new generation of Vector fabric cutters

Published
Jul 6, 2012

The French specialists of integrated solutions for industries using soft material textiles announced the launch of the new generation of Vector cutters, which were initially debuted in early 2007.

Lectra: The latest Vector generation

The new generation is more efficient but also easier to use, incorporating a number of anti-errors devices. Lectra has also equipped the machine with a new interface, making it more visual and more intuitive. Through its 120 sensors and a predictive maintenance system, the new product also intends to earn a following through its reliability.

"Strengthening their value proposition, meeting even stricter deadlines, delivering constant, irreproachable quality at best mastered costs, as well as getting along with an ultra-flexible production process – these are daily challenges for our customers," said Daniel Harari, Lectra CEO.

Lectra now has 1,350 employees, serving 23,000 customers in over one hundred countries. Last year the company generated sales of 206 million euros.
