Klarna and Olivia Rubin team up ahead of LFW

Published
Jan 31, 2020

British designer Olivia Rubin is offering online customers a new purchase option with Klarna, and to celebrate their partnership, the brands are planning a pop-up salon during London Fashion Week in February.

Known for her joyful designs, Olivia Rubin’s beauty salon at the Townhouse, Fitzrovia will offer guests complimentary manicures featuring an exclusive nail design created by the designer and inspired by her pastel palette.

Commenting on the collaboration Olivia Rubin said: “Having recently launched Klarna on our website, it is going to be a great way to commence our partnership and introduce some rainbow happiness into all the attendees this season.”

In addition to the pop-up, London Fashion Week goers can hail free Klarna x Olivia Rubin Tuk Tuks to commute sustainably between the shows and the salon. A limited edition tote bag featuring the brand’s signature rainbow stripe will be given to those who take part in the event.

The London Fashion Week activations aim to highlight Olivia Rubin’s launch of Buy Now, Pay Later payment options provided by Klarna. The Swedish fintech company, a driving force behind the recent growth in flexible payments, announced this week a $200 million investment from Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Klarna’s explosive growth has seen it gain the approval of over 190,000 merchants, including Asos, Michael Kors, Superdry, Topshop and Oliver Bonas.
