Kenneth Cole is flying the flag for gender neutral fragrances with a brand new perfume collection.

The series, dubbed ‘Kenneth Cole Fragrances for All,' comprises a trio of perfumes titled ‘Serenity,' ‘Energy' and ‘Intensity,' which have been designed to be worn alone or layered together for a personalized experience.

The collection covers all bases, with ‘Serenity' featuring woody notes of white pepper, sandalwood and tonka bean for a calming effect, while ‘Energy' is a zingier scent comprising white citrus and orange blossom notes. ‘Intensity' rounds things out with a spicy, heady blend of cardamom, tobacco leaf and coffee absolute. Each of the scents comes in a minimalist glass vial topped with a modern black cap.

Unisex fragrances continue to be a major beauty trend, as beauty brands increasingly embrace inclusivity and dismiss traditional gender barriers. New genderless releases this year include ‘Britney Spears Prerogative' by the pop star Britney Spears, which hit the shelves back in July, and an 11-piece ‘Tuscan Creations' collection launched by the luxury Italian footwear and accessories label Salvatore Ferragamo in the fall. US fragrance house Bond No. 9's new perfume, 'New Bond St.', was described by the brand as a "multi-sexual gourmand oriental scent" when it made its debut in September, while June saw Givenchy update its iconic unisex ‘Eau de Givenchy.'
