Jo Malone London appoints new global general manager

Published

British cosmetics brand Jo Malone London has just named Jean-Guillaume Trottier as its new global general manager. Mr. Trottier had already been working for the Estée Lauder group at M.A.C. Cosmetics, its other subsidiary, where he served as brand manager since 2004 and then as vice-president and general manager for the EMEA region and the UK since 2007.

In eight years, Mr. Trottier helped M.A.C Cosmetics become a leading brand by focusing on expanding its retail network and establishing itself in the developing countries. Prior to this, he worked for L’ Oréal group from 2000 to 2003 with three of its brands: Shu Uemura, Khiel’s et Lancôme.

In his new position at Jo Malone London, acquired by Estée Lauder in 1999 and currently present in 28 countries, Jean-Guillaume Trottier will be working from London where he will lead the brand’s global strategy. The British brand had also announced last month the appointment of Charlotte Stockdale as its new style director.
