Jamie Givens named CEO of Lacoste UK & Ireland

Lacoste has recruited Jamie Givens, an experienced commercial director, as its new chief executive for the UK and Ireland, it has emerged.

Givens joins the premium clothing brand from Levi Strauss & Co, where he spent eight years in a variety of roles including senior positions in sales and marketing. During this time, he was commercial director for Dockers, covering the UK, Benelux and Scandinavia, and was later appointed sales director UK & Ireland for both Levi's and Dockers brands.

His most recent position within Levi's was digital director, responsible for the company’s digital wholesale strategy across Europe.

Prior to joining Levi Strauss, Givens was head of international business at DB Apparel, whose portfolio of brands including Wonderbra, Fila, Unno, Playtex and Nurdie. He was also European sales controller for TIGI haircare.

With stores in over 120 countries, Lacoste is a global brand known for its polos and green crocodile logo. In the UK, it has stores in over 20 locations including London, Birmingham, Manchester and Portsmouth, and it also operates a shop in Kildare, Ireland.
