Italian label Blumarine, whose reputation is associated with the creative inspiration of designer Anna Molinari, has been relaunched after being acquired by Gruppo Eccellenze Italiane (GEI), a group owned by Marco Marchi, and has now added an extra string to its bow. The label is presenting its first fine jewellery collection on March 17-21 at Vicenzaoro, one of the industry’s leading international trade shows.

Blumarine Fine Jewelry has been created by GEI in association with Bruno Nardelli, an entrepreneur active in the jewellery and watch-making sectors who has introduced some of GEI’s brands in the costume jewellery segment.

“For the first time in its history,” said Marchi, “Blumarine is stepping into the world of jewellery with a project that, from next September, will be launched initially on the international markets where the [Blumarine] brand is most appreciated, like the USA and the Middle East. In 2023 it will be Italy's turn.”

“Expressing the values of an iconic Italian brand like Blumarine was the key goal we set ourselves thinking about this new line,” said Nardelli. “The pieces that evoke the lightness and beauty of butterflies are among the most distinctive in this first collection,” he added.

The Blumarine Fine Jewelry line is entirely made in Italy and features jewellery in 18 carat gold, white and black natural diamonds, pink sapphires and emeralds, and is priced between €1,000 and €10,000.
