Two flagship houses of the luxury groups LVMH and Kering are reorganizing their communications with the key appointments of Isabel Moessinger and Benjamin Cercio. After a brief stint at Burberry, Isabel Moessinger returns to the Bernard Arnault universe, where she worked for seven years at Christian Dior, to join Louis Vuitton as vice president, fashion communications. For his part, Benjamin Cercio joined the Italian label Gucci at the beginning of the week as global communications director.

Benjamin Cercio - Gucci

After starting out in Karla Otto Paris' communications agency, where in ten years she rose through the ranks to become vice president, Isabel Moessinger had moved to Christian Dior at the end of 2014 to oversee press and public relations for Europe and the Middle East, until she was promoted to press & PR director. At the beginning of 2022, she left the famous Parisian fashion house to transfer to Burberry, where she recently held the position of global vice president, brand communications.

She will take up her new position on January 3, according to Louis Vuitton. Isabel Mössinger (her original German name is spelled like this) will take over from Youssef Marquis, who was appointed fashion communication director almost a year ago, assuming some of the responsibilities previously held by Benjamin Cercio.

Cercio practically grew up at Louis Vuitton, where he worked for fifteen years, taking on increasing responsibilities. He has now moved across the Alps to Gucci in Italy, where "he is responsible for Gucci brand communications worldwide, overseeing the global press office, special events, social media and influencer marketing, special art projects, as well as exhibitions and communications for Gucci Garden and Gucci Archives," the company says.

Benjamin Cercio reports directly to Susan Chokachi, Gucci's executive vice president, chief brand and customer officer.
