Huda Beauty to open first pop-up shop in London

Published
Nov 15, 2019

Huda Beauty, the Dubai-based make-up brand founded by millionaire influencer Huda Kattan, will open its first ever pop-up shop in London’s Covent Garden.

Huda Beauty

Reportedly worth more than $1.2 billion, the make-up brand is one of the fastest growing in the world, driven by its highly pigmented offering and strong social media following. Last year, it reported retail sales of $400 million.

The London pop-up store will be located in one of the city’s most popular tourist neighbourhoods, opening on Friday 29 November with a selection of favourite items plus exclusive limited-edition beauty products created for the store.

Make-up fans can visit the temporary store for a month until 26 December, however shoppers are advised to book a slot online as queues are expected. That could just be hype, of course, but Huda has inspired the kind of devotion that's likely to generate heavy visitor traffic.

Kattan, who founded the business with a range of false eyelashes in 2013, said in a statement: “I have been dying to do a pop-up for ages and I knew the first one had to be in Covent Garden”

Speaking about the opening, she added via Instagram stories: “I was really, really particular about where the first one would be. I love London so much. It is one of my favourite places to go in the world, but also our followers there are so incredible, so amazing, so loving every time we are there and I am really excited to bring you guys something amazing.”
