Harry Styles launches Pleasing beauty brand

​Harry Styles has this week launched a beauty brand — called Pleasing — the label debuting with just a few products. For now it features vegan/clean beauty unisex nail products and skincare. 

There are four shades in a Perfect Polish set, including Perfect Pearl, Inky Pearl, Pearly Tops and Granny’s Pink Pearls. The skincare comes as Pearlescent Illuminating Serum, plus an eye gel.

The beauty products were only available for pre-order at the weekend, however, and “in limited quantities”. Styles hasn’t yet officially announced the brand launch. But the pop star-turned-actor, fashion favourite and now entrepreneur told Dazed magazine that he wants to help people find “little moments of joy”.

There have been rumours about a beauty launch for some time as trade names were registered and Styles was seen wearing hoodies and sweats with the word Pleasing on them. The Pleasing Instagram account went live only a day ago and already has close to a million followers.

Celebrity beauty lines are nothing new, of course, but more and more male celebrities are venturing into the market targeting all genders with Machine Gun Kelly’s nail polish brand UN/DN and Pharrell's Humanrace line. This also comes as male-specific beauty beauty is more in focus as a brand such as the UK's War paint for Men continues to grow its direct and wholesale retail presence.
