Glossier teases its London pop-up

Glossier is heading back to London, just in time for the holidays.

The cult beauty brand is opening a pop-up store on November 20 in London's Covent Garden neighborhood, where it will remain through February 9. The move marks the label's second pop-up experience in the British capital.

"We have an incredible community in the UK -- it's our second largest market after the US," Glossier founder and CEO Emily Weiss told British Vogue. "They've been on this journey with us for a while now, from the early days of Into The Gloss, to our launch in the UK, to the week-long pop-up we put on in a Marylebone townhouse. We're in constant conversation with them and heard that they were eager to spend more time with Glossier in real life."

Beauty buffs will be able to snap up their favorite Glossier products, as well as a limited-edition umbrella to see off the London drizzle, according to British Vogue. The brand, which is famous for its immersive store concepts, has gone all-out with a traditional British theme for the boutique, teasing furniture and fittings covered in a floral motif via its Instagram account.

It has been a big year for Glossier, which rolled out a whole new color cosmetics line called 'Glossier Play' back in March, and a line of ‘Glossiwear' fashion merchandise in July. But the new milestones should come as no surprise -- the company has grown at a rapid pace ever since Weiss founded it in 2013, and raised $52 million in Series C fundraising last year.
