End to dive deeper into womenswear, grows buying team

Published
Nov 24, 2020

Upscale sneakers-to-street menswear retailer End is to ramp up its womenswear offer for the AW21 season and is currently hunting for a womenswear buyer.

End

The company already sells some women’s product, but it’s a small part of its overall offer and is largely made up of tees and a few other items from Comme des Garçons, Champion, Adidas and Nike.

There’s clearly a major opportunity for the 15-year-old retailer that has three UK stores (in the Carnaby area, in Glasgow and in Newcastle where it was founded in 2005), as well as selling via its webstore.

The expansion would see it bringing its womenswear in line with its men’s offer with a “curated selection of luxury, contemporary and street fashion products” from a wider variety of labels.

At present, the menswear arm of the business sells labels such as APC, Acne, Givenchy, Rick Owens, Stone Island, Alexander McQueen, Asics, Saint Laurent and more.

As mentioned, the company is seeking to grow its buying team with a womenswear specialist to work with ex-Selfridges staffer Sev Halit, who joined as its senior buyer only this month.
