Emily Ratajkowski goes blonde for Kérastase

Never before has the American top model and actress embarked on such a game-changing transformation. To date Emily Ratajkowski's hair has always been brown, but now it has suddenly gone blonde.

A brand ambassador for Kérastase since early 2018, Emily Ratajkowski decided that the summer of 2020 offered a golden opportunity to try something new, and she is delighted with the results.

Will blonde be the color for the coming season? Emily Ratajkowski believes it will. The 29-year-old has thrown caution to the wind and transformed her long brown hair. Rest assured, she has not taken the plunge with a shimmery platinum, but rather with a fairly natural blonde, which shows darker roots in places. As she put it when she was appointed Kérastase brand ambassador in 2018, "Hair is essential to how I express myself."

Moreover it was with the full support of the haircare brand that the American model went over to blonde, a color that will allow her to become the face of Blond Absolu, the Kérastase range that is wholly dedicated to blonde. A campaign for the line will be unveiled next January.

"I've never colored my hair or changed the length significantly in my entire life! I'm absolutely thrilled that Kérastase gave me their blessing to become a blonde. I just celebrated my birthday and am so happy to be coming out of quarantine with a fresh new look," said a delighted Emily Ratajkowski when speaking of her transformation.
