Dr. Martens replaces two major leadership roles

Published
Mar 17, 2016

Although Dr. Martens reported an increase of 13% in sales over the FY2014-15 fiscal year (ending March 2015), Permira, owner of the English brand since 2013, had higher expectations.

Dr Martens

Dr. Martens-Airwair International has indeed seen several experts better integrate the company in key sectors over the past year. Most notably, since the beginning of 2016, the company appointed two executives to key roles.

The brand has recruited Leslie Lane, former CEO of Dakine, to serve as president for the United States, as well as North and South America. She is based in Portland, Oregon. In Europe, Dr. Martens also welcomed Dan Le Vesconte. The former CEO of Wolverine Worldwide is the new president of the brand for Europe Middle East Europe regions.

Both Lane and Le Vesconte report to Steve Murray, CEO of Airwair International, the parent company of Dr. Martens.
