DKNY taps Swarovski for new international jewelry line

Published

DKNY has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with The Swarovski Group, introducing a new international jewelry offering to its existing portfolio of lifestyle categories.

The crystal-studded women’s fashion jewelry collection will be available in all international territories, with the exception of North America. The collection will be unveiled in March of 2019 and launched the following September.

The collection will feature Swarovski crystal designs inspired by the urban environment of DKNY's New York City home. Offering a range of necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets all priced under 99 euros (about $112), this new partnership is intended to deliver affordable jewelry that appeals to DKNY's existing market.

“Swarovski’s superior craftsmanship, rich legacy and dedication to creating beautiful and attainable luxury accessories make them an ideal partner for the DKNY brand’s international launch into jewelry,” said Jeff Goldfarb, executive vice president of DKNY's parent company, G-III Apparel Group, in a release. “We look forward to growing the category [...] and to continuing to extend the global reach of DKNY to consumers worldwide.”

New styles from the DKNY and Swarovski jewelry line are scheduled to launch twice a year.

The Swarovski collection will join DKNY's own fashion jewelry collection, which is currently in development.
