Columbia Sportswear hires former Geox exec for Europe

Matthew Schegg has been appointed sales director Europe for the Columbia and Sorel brands. He succeeds Patrick Chevalier, who has left the company.

Prior to joining American group Columbia Sportswear, Matthew Schegg worked at Geox. 

At the Italian brand, he initially served as general manager for France, before being appointed general manager for Western Europe.

Previously, Schegg worked for ten years at Nike, holding positions of sales director of sportswear for France and director at Nike Russia.
