Benetton adopts new governance structure with commercial and manufacturing subsidiaries

The Benetton group has adopted a new governance and organisational structure, creating a limited liability holding company, Benetton S.r.l., whose role is to oversee and coordinate the two subsidiaries operating in the textile and apparel industry: Benetton Group Srl (sales) and Olimpias Group Srl (manufacturing).

In a press release, the group wrote that the new structure is operational from 16th May. The board of directors of Benetton S.r.l. is chaired by Luciano Benetton as Executive President, and the board members are Christian Benetton, Franca Bertagnin Benetton, Sabrina Benetton, Marco Patuano, Christian Coco and Fabio Buttignon.

The new board of directors of the Benetton Group S.r.l. subsidiary includes executives who are already reporting to Luciano Benetton: COO Tommaso Brusò, CFO Sandro Saccardi and Group General Counsel Andrea Pezzangora. Christian Coco is the company’s non-executive President, as a representative of parent company Edizione S.r.l.

The new board of directors of the Olimpias Group S.r.l. subsidiary features Group Product, Sourcing and Operations Director Andrea Piras, Tommaso Brusò, Sandro Saccardi and Andrea Pezzangora, with Christian Benetton as Executive President.
