Banana Republic celebrates workplace boundary breakers in new campaign

Grammy-nominated recording artist Saint Sinner and recording artist Goapele are just two of the famous faces fronting Banana Republic's new, work-focused campaign.

The duo have been snapped up by the fashion brand to front its new ‘Work Where?' campaign, alongside the street artist Apexer, the actor Jimmie Fails and the photographer Grady Brannan. Real estate developer Mari Swim, executive Todd Palmerton, cafe owner Lea Sabado, entrepreneur Jamal Blake-Williams and social media manager Halee Edwards complete the lineup of people sharing their unique style perspectives for the ad series.

‘Work Where?' celebrates unconventional work and shines the spotlight on real people breaking boundaries in the broad landscape of modern work.

"At Banana Republic, we've always been global citizens and we're fascinated by the ever-changing modern lifestyle of what's work, what's personal and everything in between," said Banana Republic Creative Director Len Peltier in a statement. "It's rewarding to spotlight such dimensional friends of the brand -- people who are creating impactful work across disciplines and breaking boundaries, big and small, every day."

Movement artist Jon Boogz and poet, screenwriter and artist Chinaka Hodge also make a return to the spotlight for the campaign, following their recent appearances in ‘BR Presents' films for the brand, in honor of Black History Month. The brand will also be giving away products featuring select phrases from Hodge's spoken-word piece on International Women's Day, via its Instagram channel. The company will also make a $100,000 donation to the non-profit CARE, which provides foundational life skills and technical training to women globally, to mark the event.
