Ann Summers is the UK’s most searched-for lingerie brand

A new report from Inside Online has analysed the online presence of 30 lingerie brands in the UK, finding the most searched-for and socially engaged brands in the market.

Ann Summers, which sell erotic accessories as well as lingerie, has emerged as Britain’s most searched-for brand with 823k monthly searches, almost doubling the number of monthly visits of the second most searched-for brand, Victoria’s Secret (450k). They are followed by Lovehoney (301k), Boux Avenue (246k) and Bravissimo (135k).

But when it comes to social media engagement, Victoria’s Secret takes the top spot with a score of 131k, compared with Ann Summers’ 945. Other brands with strong following and engagement are Intimissimi with 6802, Triumph (5155), Yandy (3589) and La Senza (2722).

Inside Online’s Lingerie Market Digital Insight Report also highlights the brands that have improved the most during the year. Bondara, UK Tights and La Senza have all enjoyed considerable growth in their SEO visibility year-on-year, while Boux Avenue, Triumph UK and Harmony Store have seen little no to recent growth.

And Inside Online said Victoria’s Secret ranked number one when it comes to link authority, boasting a good number of high-quality referring domains. Meanwhile Nasty Dress has a high volume of referring links, however the average link is of poor quality.
