Adidas unveils new store on the Champs-Elysées

Published

After several weeks of closure, Adidas unveiled the new look of its flagship store. Located on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, the brand has already benefited from the new store concept developed by HomeCourt in other cities like Pekin, Madrid, Berlin and London.

The store pays homage to the brands sporty heritage. With a total surface space of 2260 square meters, the biggest store in Europe has been reimagined with a more industrial look, much like the brand's U.S stores, with concrete floors, rough walls and exposed ceiling pipes.

In terms of merchandise, the ground floor strives to be a sport temple, carrying all the Adidas sports lines, while the upstairs is dedicated to lifestyle lines, Adidas Originals and the Y-3 collection.

The upstairs however, totalling 300 square meters, is still closed and will only be unveiled later this summer.

Finally, at the heart of this new concept, visitors can also discover Shoebase, an interactive bar equipped with screens in order to discover shoes presented in 3D and product details. Shoebase is also equipped with smartphone connectivity.

Again with interactivity in mind, Adidas has set forth a space dedicated to click & collect, as well as Mi Adidas which allows customers to customize their shoes, with the help of an employee.

In the new Adidas store concept, changing rooms have been transformed to resemble Locker Rooms.

“The complete transformation of the brand's number 1 store in Europe is a part of Adidas’ process to leave a mark in the heart of key cities around the world. As one of six key cities for the brand, Paris is a priority for brand activation and to shine worldwide,” said the brand in a press release.
