00.thestore sustainability-focused pop-up opens on London's Conduit Street

Published
Nov 16, 2022

00.thestore is making it a second festive outing with the sustainability-focused pop-up having just opened on London’s Conduit Street. It brings together a curation of 85 “of the most cutting-edge planet-conscious brands this holiday season”.

Citing that an estimated 23 million gifts are destined for landfill at Christmas, with the average person receiving two unwanted presents, 00.thestore “is helping to shift the narrative around festive gifting and instead champion brands and products that are uniquely positioned to serve as thoughtful gifts, forever gifts or gifts "promoting a sustainable lifestyle beyond the holiday season”.

Hosting a wide selection “of the most exciting, industry-leading, innovative and established brands” the pop-up features some high-end names already represented in major stores such as Liberty, Selfridges and Harrods.

Meanwhile, “as an antidote to Black Friday”, 00.thestore is hosting Sustainable Saturday (26 November). Partnering with Bodo to create an online platform, it will feature products in-store “to leverage conversations around Black Friday and encourage customers to opt for more planet-friendly choices”.

Alongside the traditional retail offer, it will also host a range of workshops and panel discussions in the afternoons with leading industry experts from the sustainability space, as well as activists and influential social media personalities.
