Travelbags to open third Dutch brick-and-mortar branch

Travelbags, the Dutch specialist in bags and luggage, is opening a third physical location in the Netherlands. The 190 m2 store will be located at Brugstraat 2 in the town of Groningen and is planned to open in mid-October. The branch is part of the company’s strategy to increase its offline presence.

Travelbags offers brands such as Samsonite, Eastpak, The North Face, Cowboysbag, Guess, and Michael Kors. Its stock ranges from suitcases to backpacks and offers ranges for men, women and children. In total, the company offers 20,000 products from 100 brands.

In 2007 the family-owned business launched the online store followed by physical locations in Zwolle (2012) and Hardenberg (2014) and, now, Groningen. The online shop is also available to the Belgian market.
