Shiseido strengthening its team

Published
Jul 22, 2015

Japanese cosmetics group, Shiseido, has announced the appointment of Roxana Daver as Senior Vice President, Global Business Development and Coordination, effective September 1st, 2015.

A new product from Shiseido - Shiseido

Previously Vice President General Manager Asia Pacific at Estee Lauder Companies, Roxana Daver will work with Masahiko Uotani, the CEO of Shiseido, in coordinating the overall global business operations of the group's six regions.

Indeed, in line with its strategic plan, Vision 2020, which aims to reach 100 trillion yen (€6.8bn/$7.4bn) in revenue within 5 years, Shiseido has identified five priority geographic regions, Japan, China, Asia, Europe and the US, as well as travel retail.

Moreover, Shiseido has just signed an agreement with a Harvard University-affiliated dermatology laboratory until 2020 to study the biology of skin and hair growth, with plans to incorporate its findings into new products.
