Pokemon and Hiroshi Fujiwara are set to release the first garments from the “Thunderbolt Project” at the Hypebeast event “Hypefest” that will take place in Brooklyn, New York from October 6 to 7 and will have the first item from the collaboration on sale in advance. The collaborative project is expected to continue beyond 2019.

The collaboration features a number of casual wear garments such as printed hoodies, tote bags, and t-shirts. One design features a silhouette of the most famous Pokemon character Pikachu with a thunderbolt and another features the character Mew. Other garments feature more abstract designs printed in white on black. Some teasers of the collection have been posted on the project’s dedicated Instagram page, “@tb_project”.

Hiroshi Fujiwara is a household name in street fashion and has been since the 1980s. Fujiwara has a consultancy firm named Fragment which has collaborated with a number of brands such as Moncler, Dior Homme, and Nike.
