Online jewelry and accessories retailer, Brandfield, will be opening four additional physical stores. The shops will be located in Breda, Eindhoven, Nijmegen and Maastricht, taking over former Watch! branches.

Brandfield already operates two brick-and-mortar stores in Groningen, launched in 2013, and Amsterdam, where it landed in 2017. Following the opening of the first two branches, Brandfield noted a revenue increase of 15 percent per region. With the additional branches, the retailer aims to further roll out its omni-channel strategy and offer customer the ability to purchase both online and offline.

Marlies Monteban, CEO at Brandfield, said in a press release: “[The physical store concept] has proven itself. Online has the present and the future, but as a company you gain the confidence of the consumer with a physical environment. There is a piece of experience that you simply cannot offer online.”

The Groningen-based company said that by expanding its store portfolio, it expects to record a revenue of €21 million at the end of 2018.

Brandfield launched in 2007 and is known for its wide range of watches, jewelry, sunglasses, bags and wallets. Today, the online shop offers 16,000 products and carries 200 brands, including Pandora, Swarovski, Ray-Ban, Secrid, Ted Baker and Kapten & Son.
