The coming months are set to be exciting for English luxury brand Maxwell Scott, with new team members, a major World Cup campaign and a new focus on the US market on the cards.

Maxwell Scott CEO and founder William Scott Forshaw says: “The next six months will be incredibly exciting and important for us as a brand.”

To further expand the brand in the UK and internationally, Maxwell Scott is creating new jobs at its head office in northern England. There will be a particular emphasis on expanding in German-speaking markets, as well as the US. The fashion brand will hire a German-speaking employee and someone to work on the English language blog.

Marketing manager Julia Munder describes the focus for the next months: “We want to become the most popular handbag brand in the world, and in order to achieve that, we will focus more on PR and marketing in the coming months. The US is a relatively new market for us, where we see so much potential.”

Meanwhile, the brand is also preparing itself for the potential effects of Brexit.

In addition to staff additions and the final touches on its new collection, Maxwell Scott is also planning a special campaign for its German customers ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

The British luxury brand, founded in 2002 by William Scott Forshaw, creates bags that combine modern English style with unique Italian leather craftsmanship.
