Van 't Lam joins the magazine from Residence, where she was the editor-in-chief of the interiors publication from 2013. Prior to that, she was the senior editor of Residence. Under her leadership, the magazine grew into a distinctive brand in the higher segment, with online extensions, events and partnerships with various brands.

In addition, Van ‘t Lam operated her own writing and consultancy firm and worked for clients in various industries, including MEE Veluwe, Thoma Makelaars, Terra Lannoo and Joop van den Ende Theaterproducties.

She said of her new role: “Harper's Bazaar is a true icon. Together with the talented team, I look forward to further develop the publication in the Netherlands and grow it into an iconic brand. A brand that inspires the modern, stylish, intelligent woman of every age in the areas that strengthen her appearance, self-awareness and development: fashion, beauty, art, career, interior and travel.”

Van ‘t Lam succeeds Cécile Narinx, who was the founding editor of the Dutch edition of Harper’s Bazaar since 2014 and is now the style editor at newspaper De Volkskrant.
