Could Kanye West's Yeezy be heading to Paris?

Rumors are rife that Kanye West is about to showcase his latest ‘Yeezy' collection for Adidas Originals during Paris Fashion Week.

The rapper and designer's creative company Donda kickstarted the reports when it tweeted a photo of a pair of camel-colored socks emblazoned with the words ‘Season 6' on Wednesday. The fact that the socks were lying on what appears to be a brown paper envelope has fuelled media speculation that they were in fact an invite to the presentation, as West has a habit of using fashion pieces for that purpose. According to People, the star will shun his usual catwalk show in favor of a private showroom presentation -- and he might not even be present himself to oversee the event.

The news has not been confirmed, but if the rumors are true then it would mean a marked change in strategy from West, whose previous Yeezy fashion shows have consisted of highly publicized, theatrical shows in iconic New York locations such as Madison Square Gardens and Roosevelt Island. His absence from New York Fashion Week this September had fans guessing that he had canceled this season's show, but perhaps there is still time for his streetwear label to make waves during the Spring/Season 2018.
