Cargo Cosmetics teases new Star Wars-themed collection

Canadian-based Cargo Cosmetics took to Instagram and Twitter to tease the launch of a limited edition Star Wars: The Last Jedi makeup collection that will debut in Kohl’s stores and on HSN (Home Shopping Network) in October prior to the movie release with the same namesake on December 15.

Cargo’s “sneak peek” of the collection offers limited information, but it’s apparent that the collection consists of four eyeliners, two mascaras and a highlighter palette. While the cost of the items has yet to be disclosed, other pieces from the brand range from $16-$36.

“This collaboration with Disney has given our team an opportunity to really showcase our creativity. Cargo is regularly used on the sets of hit Hollywood films so developing a line for Star Wars: The Last Jedi just further reinforces our brand's identity,” said Brian Robinson, President of Cargo Cosmetics in a press release.

The capsule collection is in addition to Cargo’s fall/holiday collection, The Emerald City, which is a collaboration with electropop singer/songwriter Neon Hitch.
